Nice trick. but it has quite a simple explanation Think the two digit number is made up of digits x and y (ex: x=4,y=3)
then the two digit number is 10x+y (ex: 40+3=43)
Next we do the subtraction 10x+y -(x+y) =9x (ex: 43- (4+3)=)
So you can see that…
