Skevi USB memory stick program

Hey guys, how is everyone? I am new here, and wanted to ask a question. I know a software can be produced so that when programmed into an USB memory stick, it may be used to sign in to ones account. Would this be beneficial? I have seen that many browsers save your password and log in name, and some do not. Would it be worth the trouble to create such a software? Would people use it?
